Frequently asked questions
Fairlybook is online booking for appointment-based businesses: customers book on your page without an account, and you get reminders, a team calendar and reviews. It’s free for up to 4 team members; Pro is $10 per team member (seat) a month, or $5 on yearly billing. We never touch your customers’ payments.
Booking for your customers
No. They pick a service, a time and, if you let them, who they see, then enter their name and email. They get an email with a link to change or cancel.
Booking pages and customer emails come in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French and German, and customers see times in their own time zone.
Yes. New businesses start with approval on: each online booking arrives as a request you approve or decline, and the customer is told either way. If you don’t answer in time, the request is cancelled and the customer is told. To confirm online bookings straight away, turn on Auto-confirm bookings in Settings → General.
Every booking gets an email confirmation and a reminder 24 hours before; Pro adds a second reminder 2 hours before. Reminder emails ask “Are you coming?”, and customers confirm with one tap, or change or cancel.
Yes, from your own phone. Customers can leave an SMS, WhatsApp or Viber number when they book. Your dashboard lists today’s and tomorrow’s bookings they haven’t confirmed; tap Remind and the app opens with the reminder written in their language (for Viber, it’s copied for you to paste). Nothing is sent automatically, and we don’t charge for it.
Yes, from the link in their emails, up to the cancellation notice you set. After that, the page asks them to contact you.
Yes. Add them in the dashboard, with or without an email address; bookings you add are confirmed straight away. Block time off so nobody can book it.
Your booking page
Your services with prices and photos, a banner, up to 12 gallery photos, your team with photos and bios, reviews, your booking policy, and your address with a map that loads when a visitor taps it. You can hide the map, team and reviews sections.
When you mark a visit as completed, the customer gets an email with a review link, so only customers who came can review you. You can reply to each review or report it to us, but you can’t delete it.
The rules customers agree to before they book, such as how late they can cancel. Start from a Flexible, Standard or Strict template, or ask us to help with your own wording.
Yes. Pause bookings and add a short message, for example for a holiday. Your page shows the message and takes no new bookings until you turn bookings back on.
Yes, with book-again emails. Set a number of weeks on a service, and after each completed visit the customer gets one email inviting them to book again, unless they already have a later booking. It’s off until you turn it on, and customers can unsubscribe in one click.

Your data and privacy
You do. We store it to run your bookings and never sell it. Each business’s data is kept separate, and you can export all of it at any time from Settings → Data & privacy.
Our database and servers run in the United States. The subprocessors page lists every service we use, and our data processing agreement covers how we handle your customers’ data.
Yes, from Settings → Data & privacy. Your booking page goes offline straight away; you have 30 days to ask us to restore it, then everything is deleted for good.
Setting up
A few minutes. Pick your type of business and we fill in starter services, lengths and opening hours you can change, then share your booking link. Sign-up is open to barber shops for now; more business types are coming soon.
No. Add team members so customers can book them, and invite a login only for people who need to sign in, for example to connect their own calendar. Each person is one seat either way.
On Pro, bookings sync both ways with Google Calendar, and busy times there are blocked on your booking page. On every plan, Apple Calendar, Outlook and other calendar apps can subscribe to your private calendar link. Two-way Outlook sync is coming soon.
Fairlybook runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer, and you can add it to your home screen like an app. There’s nothing to download from an app store.
