Terms of service
Last updated November 5, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Fairlybook when you use our booking service. By creating an account or using Fairlybook, you agree to them.
The service
Fairlybook gives businesses an online booking page, a shared calendar, reminders and related tools. Fairlybook does booking only: we never take or hold payments between a business and its customers. Customers pay the business directly, however the business chooses.
Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and use Fairlybook for a business or profession.
- Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account and for the people you invite to your team.
- Tell us straight away at support@fairlybook.com if you think your account has been misused.
Plans, trial and payment
- Every new business starts with a free trial of the Pro plan. After the trial, the business moves to the Free plan unless it chooses Pro.
- Pro is priced per active team member. The amount billed follows the number of active team members: adding or removing one changes the next invoice, prorated.
- Paid plans are sold by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which is the merchant of record and adds any taxes at checkout. Its terms also apply to your purchase.
- Plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing page, and the plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
- If a payment fails, the paid plan keeps working for 14 days while the payment is retried. After that, the business moves to the Free plan's limits.
- We may change prices for future billing periods. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change applies to you.
Acceptable use
Don't use Fairlybook to:
- break the law or help anyone else break it;
- send spam or messages people didn't ask for;
- offer illegal services or impersonate someone else;
- upload harmful files, or try to access other businesses' data or our systems without permission;
- overload, scrape or interfere with the service.
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
Your data and your customers' data
- You own the content and data you put into Fairlybook. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you.
- For your customers' personal data, you are the controller and we process it on your behalf, as described in our privacy policy. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it and contact your customers.
- You can export your data at any time, and delete your business from the dashboard.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Fairlybook available and secure, but we can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change or remove features. If we remove something important to a paid plan, we will tell you in advance.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Fairlybook and delete your business at any time. We may end or suspend the service for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, or where the law requires it. After a business is deleted, it can be restored for 30 days; after that, its data is permanently deleted.
Liability
Fairlybook is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or missed bookings, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any rights you have as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Fairlybook is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep any protection given to you by the mandatory laws of the country where you live. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell account owners at least 30 days before it applies. If you keep using Fairlybook after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can cancel and delete your business.
